Syrian Army kills lead strategist behind jihadist east Damascus offensive
BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:40 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) killed another high ranking commander of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham in eastern Damascus this week, a military report claimed on Saturday.
According to the report, the Syrian Army killed Abu Nader Al-Aoss of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham during their operation near the Harasta police hospital on Saturday.
The Islamist commander was known as the chief planner of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham’s offensive in the eastern suburbs of Damascus; his death is a major loss to the rebel forces.
The Syrian military report further added that the Islamist rebels are on the verge of mass collapse as they continue to suffer heavy casualties in Harasta.
