Despite Idlib agreement, Syrian Army spies continue operations behind enemy lines
BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:15 A.M.) – On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan reached an agreement in Sochi that would establish a 10-15km demilitarized zone inside the Idlib Governorate.
However, despite the Russian-Turkish agreement in Sochi, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has continued their psychological warfare campaign in an effort to hound the jihadist rebels in the Idlib Governorate and its surroundings.
Most recently, the official media wing of the Tiger Forces released a video showing a Syrian Arab Army spy touring the key town of Saraqib, which is located in the northwestern countryside of the Idlib Governorate and just south of the Aleppo provincial border.
As shown in the video below, the Syrian Army spy is operating freely inside of Saraqib, despite the fact that Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and their allies have attempted to crackdown on government sympathizers.
